Jacquelyn Hoover of Rheems a Student Leader at Lebanon Valley College

Jacquelyn Hoover of Rheems, Pa., is serving as a student leader at Lebanon Valley College this year. Hoover is the president of HALT (Hunger Awareness Leaders of Tomorrow).

HALT aims to raise awareness of hunger and poverty issues on campus and supports various food drives and collections to assist struggling regions and communities.

Hoover is a junior psychology and sociology major.

Lebanon Valley College is located in Annville, Pa., just 15 minutes east of Hershey and 35 minutes east of Harrisburg. Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Baltimore are all approximately two hours from LVC. Founded in 1866, the College welcomes more than 1,600 full-time undergraduate students studying more than 30 majors, as well as self-designed majors. It guarantees graduation within four years and offers automatic scholarships to students ranking in the top 30 percent of their high school class worth up to one half the cost of tuition at LVC.
