Jacob Williams Recognized for baseball at Lebanon Valley College

Jacob Williams of Dover, Del., was one of more than 200 Lebanon Valley College students who played a varsity sport during the 2016 spring season. Williams, a graduate of Caesar Rodney High School, was a member of Lebanon Valley's baseball team(s). Williams is pursuing a bachelor of science in early childhood education and special education at The Valley.
Lebanon Valley's baseball team finished the season with a 17-22 overall record and went 8-13 in MAC Commonwealth play. Marshal Kiessling was named to the all-conference first-team, while Zac Edwards and Mike Puglisi earned second-team recognition. Colin Albright, Brett Fundell, and Greg Orlando received honorable mention nods. Seniors Brett Fundell and Zach Smith and juniors Mike Puglisi and Zac Edwards each surpassed the 100-career hits milestone during their 2016 campaigns. Orlando was also named to the MAC Spring Sportsmanship Team.
A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 24 sports.
