Ivan Jorel Earns Middle Atlantic Conference Honor

A pair of Lebanon Valley College soccer players earned MAC Commonwealth Weekly Awards thanks to their stellar efforts in a pair of recent victories. Ivan Jorel of Harrisburg, Pa. was named Middle Atlantic Conference men's soccer offensive player of the week. Jorel led Lebanon Valley (9-2-1) to an undefeated week in conference play. After contributing off the bench in the team's 1-0 victory over Alvernia on Wednesday afternoon, the freshman game up clutch in a 3-2 win over Hood on Saturday when he scored the game-winner in the 71st minute of play.

Jorel, a graduate of Harrisburg High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in physics at The Valley.
