Ian Lloyd Recognized as LVC Student-Athlete

Ian Lloyd of Millersburg, Pa., is one of more than 150 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the 2016-17 winter sports season. Lloyd, a graduate of Millersburg Area High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in health science at The Valley.

Lloyd was a member of the men's swimming team. Lebanon Valley was headed up by its two seniors in Bryce Betz and Garrett Collins. The team finished their season at the MAC Championships where Ian Lloyd had a record-breaking weekend that saw him break five program records, one of which earned him his first gold medal in the 200-meter butterfly. Lloyd was named All-Conference in the 200 IM, 100 fly and 200 fly. He was conference champion in the 200 fly. He received a MAC honorable mention for All-Conference as part of the team's 200 and 400 free relays.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 25 sports.
