Hannah Reedy Spending Spring 2014 Semester in Italy

2014 Jan 24

Hannah E. Reedy of Lititz, Pa., is spending the spring 2014 semester in an academic program in Italy.

LVC students study in the medieval city of Perugia at the Umbra Institute. Students choose from a variety of courses with integrated field trips to famous Italian cities and sites, community engagement opportunities outside of the classroom, and extracurricular activities. Perugia serves as the ideal backdrop for study abroad in Italy. Rich in art, architecture, and historical significance, it is internationally recognized as a city of learning. The ancient city lies far from the beaten path, surrounded by the rolling hills of Umbria and Tuscany. Travel from Perugia is easy since Rome, Florence, Siena, Assisi, and Cortona lie only a short distance away.

Reedy is a member of the Lebanon Valley College Class of 2016, and is pursuing a bachelor of arts in history. Reedy is a graduate of Warwick High School.

Some of the 16 LVC students studying off campus this semester are sharing their adventure at the Study Abroad Blog at http://www2.lvc.edu/study-abroad.
