Hannah Dieringer to Study Away in Italy This Spring

2017 Jan 12

Hannah Dieringer of Parkesburg, Pa., is one of 24 Lebanon Valley College students who will participate in an immersive experience by studying away during the Spring 2017 semester. Dieringer will be studying in Italy.

This program offers all majors an education at the Umbra Institute in Perugia, Italy. At Umbra, students study throughout Italy sampling the many treasures of the great cities. It is difficult to think of a more suitable backdrop for study abroad in Italy. The academic program is taught in the American university tradition and is composed of two parts_a compulsory Italian language component that may fulfill the language requirement at LVC and an elective component composed of courses taught at the Institute.

Dieringer, a graduate of Octorara Area High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in business administration and art and art history at The Valley.

LVC offers 12 full-semester programs study abroad programs as well as several short-term international programs. By the time they graduate, 20 percent of LVC students will have lived and studied in another country.
