Hanan Khalil Volunteers at 4th Annual Project Homeless Connect

Hanan Khalil of Columbia was among 14 Lebanon Valley College students who spent Sept. 25, 2013 with the Harrisburg Area Coalition Against Homelessness at its Project Homeless Connect event at the PA Farm Show Complex. More than 70 service providers were present to help homeless individuals get off the street before winter. Student volunteers assist individuals in connecting to necessary services by providing one-on-one support through the process.
