Erik Furman of Mt. Wolf a Student Leader at Lebanon Valley College

Erik Furman of Mt. Wolf, Pa., is serving as a student leader at Lebanon Valley College this year. Furman is the president of WLVC.

WLVC is the student-operated, carrier-current campus radio station. Staff positions are open to any student interested in broadcasting. Student DJs create their own program formats and broadcast live. Recent formats have included hard rock, punk, top 40s, pop, progressive, jazz, classical, and contemporary Christian music.

Furman is a senior music recording technology major.

Lebanon Valley College is located in Annville, Pa., just 15 minutes east of Hershey and 35 minutes east of Harrisburg. Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Baltimore are all approximately two hours from LVC. Founded in 1866, the College welcomes more than 1,600 full-time undergraduate students studying more than 30 majors, as well as self-designed majors. It guarantees graduation within four years and offers automatic scholarships to students ranking in the top 30 percent of their high school class worth up to one half the cost of tuition at LVC.
