Emma Jones Earns MAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week Honor

Emma Jones of Sinking Spring, Pa., was one of two Lebanon Valley College women's lacrosse players to earn Middle Atlantic Conference Player of the Week honors. Jones, a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, was named Offensive Player of the Week. and is pursuing a bachelor of science in biology.

Jones was an offensive force for LVC, scoring 10 goals across two contests. In a 13-6 win over Susquehanna on Wednesday evening, the senior scored four goals, scooped up five ground balls, and caused three turnovers. In a 16-5 victory over Ramapo on Saturday afternoon, the midfielder netted six markers, gathered up three ground balls, caused four turnovers, and secured five draw controls. The team captain is averaging four goals per game on the young season.
