Emily Spurlin of Enola Participates in "Disappearing Boundaries" Summer Research Meeting

2014 Sep 12

Lebanon Valley College student Emily N. Spurlin of Enola, Pa., was one of 21 LVC students selected to participate in the "Disappearing Boundaries" Summer Research Meeting at Elizabethtown College July 17, 2014. Spurlin is pursuing a bachelor of science in biology at the Valley. Spurlin is a graduate of East Pennsboro High School.

Founded by LVC professor Dr. Wally Patton, the meeting is specifically designed for researchers in the region to come together to share their science. The meeting is a great venue for students to present their research in the form of posters and informal 'group meetings' and for faculty to share ideas across and within disciplines.
