Emily Franke of Havre de Grace Develops Leadership Skills at Lebanon Valley College

Emily M. Franke of Havre de Grace, Md., was among a group of just six students to be recognized for completing Lebanon Valley College's Leadership Institute. Franke, a graduate of Baltimore Lutheran High School, is pursuing a degree in psychology and sociology.

LVC's Leadership Institute is a fun and innovative program that provides an opportunity for students to reflect on their leadership-related experiences and increase their personal skills. The program invites outside speakers to present sessions on a broad range of topics. The capstone portfolio displays leadership learning and activities in one place and demonstrates that students are equipped with the superior knowledge, skills, perspectives, and experiences associated with leadership development.
