Emily Banks Recognized for women's cross country at Lebanon Valley College

Emily Banks of Hummelstown, Pa., was one of more than 250 Lebanon Valley College students who played a varsity sport in fall 2015. Banks, a graduate of Lower Dauphin High School, was a member of Lebanon Valley's women's cross country team. Banks is pursuing a bachelor of science in early childhood education and special education at The Valley.

Kelsey Patrick was Lebanon Valleyes top runner once again, capping her stellar four-year career with another trip to the NCAA Cross Country Championships in November. The senior was a four-time Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Womenes Runner of the Week, a two-time ECAC Runner of the Week, and a USTFCCCA Division III National Athlete of the Week. She earned All-MAC and NCAA Division III All-Region honors after winning the individual championships at the 2015 Dutchmen Invite in early September and Oberlines Inter-Regional Rumble in mid-October. Rebecca Sitler also added an individual title at Penn State Harrisburges Bud Smitley Invitational in October, leading LVC to the team championship in the process.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 24 sports.
