Douglas Waterman of Annville a Student Leader at Lebanon Valley College

Douglas Waterman Jr. of Annville, Pa., is serving as a student leader at Lebanon Valley College this year. Waterman is the treasurer of Remember the Stars.

Remember the Stars is a student group in support of "To Write Love On Her Arms," which is dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide.

Waterman is a freshman political science major.

Lebanon Valley College is located in Annville, Pa., just 15 minutes east of Hershey and 35 minutes east of Harrisburg. Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Baltimore are all approximately two hours from LVC. Founded in 1866, the College welcomes more than 1,600 full-time undergraduate students studying more than 30 majors, as well as self-designed majors. It guarantees graduation within four years and offers automatic scholarships to students ranking in the top 30 percent of their high school class worth up to one half the cost of tuition at LVC.
