Dillon Dunn to Study Away in Hamilton, New Zealand This Fall

2016 Jul 28

Dillon Dunn of Culpeper, Va., is one of 30 Lebanon Valley College students who will participate in an immersive experience by studying away during the Fall 2016 semester. Dunn will be studying in Hamilton, New Zealand.

This semester program offers students the opportunity to take four courses abroad in almost any concentration. The University of Waikato is located in the city of Hamilton, New Zealand's fourth largest city in the north-central region of the North Island, only 90 minutes south of Auckland. The Waikato area offers a wide range of recreational activities with many of New Zealand's major lifestyle activities just a short drive from the University. These include excellent surfing and swimming beaches, forest parks, lakes, thermal hot pools, and limestone caves.

Dunn, a graduate of Eastern View High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in computer science at The Valley.

LVC offers full-semester programs in 11 countries as well as several short-term international programs. By the time they graduate, 20 percent of LVC students will have lived and studied in another country.
