Daniel Kimmel Recognized for Leadership at Lebanon Valley College

Daniel J. Kimmel of Annville, Pa., was recognized at the Sixth Annual Student Affairs Leadership and Service Awards Ceremony at Lebanon Valley College on May 3. Photos from the event are available by clicking here.

Kimmel was named Silver Leadership Certificate recipient. These certificates focus offer in-depth skill development and assist students with the task of learning about and using their personal leadership strengths to work with others to solve problems. It requires successful completion of the Effective Development through Guided Education program. Kimmel was also named Diversity and Social Justice Certificate recipient. These certificates are specifically designed to encourage students to recognize, appreciate, and celebrate the diversity that the world offers. It requires success completion of the Effective Development through Guided Education program. For his volunteerism, Kimmel was named a Gold Community Service Award recipient. This award is presented to students who have completed more than 100 hours of community service and have also completed a three-day residential service project.

Kimmel, a sophomore English and religion major, is a graduate of Northern Lebanon High School.
