Corine Denny of New Windsor a Student Leader at Lebanon Valley College

Corine Denny of New Windsor, Md., is serving as a student leader at Lebanon Valley College this year. Denny is the vice president of Phi Beta Lambda.

Phi Beta Lambda is a national fraternity providing opportunities for students to develop vocational competencies. The LVC chapter is very successful and is open to all students. PBL steadily increases membership, develops programs on business etiquette, skills and interviewing; brings in guest speakers for meetings; engages in tours of local businesses; helps with Junior Achievement; and develops and promotes business sponsors.

Denny is a sophomore accounting major.

Lebanon Valley College is located in Annville, Pa., just 15 minutes east of Hershey and 35 minutes east of Harrisburg. Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Baltimore are all approximately two hours from LVC. Founded in 1866, the College welcomes more than 1,600 full-time undergraduate students studying more than 30 majors, as well as self-designed majors. It guarantees graduation within four years and offers automatic scholarships to students ranking in the top 30 percent of their high school class worth up to one half the cost of tuition at LVC.
