Christopher Kurtz Recognized for men's swimming at Lebanon Valley College

Christopher Kurtz of Lititz, Pa., was one of more than 180 Lebanon Valley College students who played a varsity sport during the 2015-16 winter season. Kurtz, a graduate of Manheim Township High School, was a member of Lebanon Valley's men's swimming team. Kurtz is pursuing a bachelor of science in early childhood education at The Valley.

Lebanon Valley ended their season 6-6 overall and was undefeated in its home pool with three wins. At the MAC Championships, Ian Lloyd earned first-team all-conference in the 200 IM, and the 100 fly and 200 fly. Chris Kurtz earned second-team all-conference honors in the 400 IM, while Lloyd, Bobby Burkhart, Clay Heebner, Kurtz, and David Corvino earned honorable mention status as members of relay teams.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 24 sports.
