Christopher Kurtz Recognized as LVC Student-Athlete

Christopher Kurtz of Lititz, Pa., is one of more than 150 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the Winter 2017-18 sports season. Kurtz, a graduate of Manheim Township High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in early childhood education at The Valley.

Kurtz was a member of the men's swimming team. Lebanon Valley was led this winter by senior captain Ian Lloyd. He completed one of the most accomplished four-year careers in program history by winning the second Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship in as many seasons. He took gold in the 200 IM and added silver and bronze medals in the butterfly events to finish as LVC's record-holder in 15 different events.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 26 sports.
