Cheyanne Brown Studying Away in Maastricht, Netherlands This Summer

Cheyanne Brown of York, Pa., is one of nearly 40 Lebanon Valley College students participating in an immersive experience by studying away this summer. Brown will be studying in Maastricht, Netherlands.

This 3.5-week summer program offers students in any major the opportunity to complete six credits of coursework. Students choose one of two courses taught by LVC faculty leaders: Business in the European Union or Human Rights. Students also enroll in an Intercultural Communications course taught by a Dutch faculty member. Excursions to the European Union Parliament building, the Hague, and local businesses are included.

Brown, a graduate of William Penn High School, is pursuing a bachelor of arts in global studies and sociology at The Valley.

LVC offers 12 full-semester programs study abroad programs as well as several short-term international programs. By the time they graduate, 20 percent of LVC students will have lived and studied in another country.
