Carlos Garcia of Lebanon a Student Leader at Lebanon Valley College

Carlos Garcia Jr. of Lebanon, Pa., is serving as a student leader at Lebanon Valley College this year. Garcia is the vice president of Latinos Unidos.

Latinos Unidos is devoted to promoting a cultural awareness of the Hispanic and Latin American culture. They sponsor various events on campus to share their message.

Garcia is a sophomore biology major.

Lebanon Valley College is located in Annville, Pa., just 15 minutes east of Hershey and 35 minutes east of Harrisburg. Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Baltimore are all approximately two hours from LVC. Founded in 1866, the College welcomes more than 1,600 full-time undergraduate students studying more than 30 majors, as well as self-designed majors. It guarantees graduation within four years and offers automatic scholarships to students ranking in the top 30 percent of their high school class worth up to one half the cost of tuition at LVC.
