Cameron Epple Named Men's Lacrosse Team Captain

Lebanon Valley College men's lacrosse head coach John Haus has announced that Cameron Epple of Wernersville, Pa., is one of five team captains for the upcoming 2018 campaign. Epple, a graduate of Warwick High School, is pursuing a degree in economics at The Valley.

Epple started all 17 games in net for LVC as a sophomore a year ago. The goalkeeper was named to the MAC Commonwealth All-Conference Second-Team for the second consecutive season after making 200 saves, recording a 7.55 goals allowed average, and posting a .613 save percentage. He recorded eight wins in goal and was named the MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Week in mid-April. He also earned a spot on the MAC Academic Honor Roll.

The Flying Dutchmen open their 2018 season when they host Delaware Valley at Arnold Field on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 24.
