Cameron Avery Recognized for men's soccer at Lebanon Valley College

Cameron Avery of Mechanicsburg, Pa., was one of more than 250 Lebanon Valley College students who played a varsity sport in fall 2015. Avery, a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, was a member of Lebanon Valley's men's soccer team. Avery is pursuing a bachelor of science in health science at The Valley.

Lebanon Valley finished the fall with an 8-10 overall record but the team was solid against in conference play, finishing 5-3 against MAC Commonwealth competition. The Flying Dutchmen earned the number two seed in the leaguees postseason tournament and four players in Alex Detweiler, Cam Avery, John McHale, and Tyler Skye were named to the MAC Commonwealth All-Conference teams. Head coach Charlie Grimes was voted the MAC Commonwealth Co-Coach of the Year for his efforts.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 24 sports.
