Cameron Avery Recognized as LVC Student-Athlete

Cameron Avery of Mechanicsburg, Pa., is one of more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the Fall 2016 semester. Avery, a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in health science at The Valley.

Avery was a member of the men's soccer team. Avery received the following post-season accolades: MAC All Conference Honors Second Team and ECAC All-Tournament Team. The men's soccer team enjoyed one of its most memorable seasons in recent years, capped by winning its first-ever ECAC Championship. LVC defeated Drew University 2-1 in the ECAC Title Game in a year that saw the Dutchmen break the record for most wins in one season with 18. LVC also broke the record for most shutout victories in one season with nine.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 25 sports.
