Bryce Betz Recognized as LVC Student-Athlete

Bryce Betz of Palmyra, Pa., is one of more than 150 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the 2016-17 winter sports season. Betz, a graduate of Palmyra Area High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in biology at The Valley.

Betz was a member of the men's swimming team. Lebanon Valley was headed up by its two seniors in Bryce Betz and Garrett Collins. The team finished their season at the MAC Championships where Ian Lloyd had a record-breaking weekend that saw him break five program records, one of which earned him his first gold medal in the 200-meter butterfly. Betz earned a spot on the Middle Atlantic Conference Winter Sportsmanship Team and received a MAC honorable mention for All-Conference as part of the team's 200 free relay.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 25 sports.
