Brittany Fleisher Recognized for field hockey at Lebanon Valley College

Brittany Fleisher of Newport, Pa., was one of more than 250 Lebanon Valley College students who played a varsity sport in fall 2015. Fleisher, a graduate of Greenwood High School, was a member of Lebanon Valley's field hockey team. Fleisher is pursuing a bachelor of arts in global studies and economics at The Valley.

The Flying Dutchmen finished the year 10-9 overall and 5-2 in MAC Commonwealth play. LVC qualified for the leaguees postseason tournament and earned an ECAC Mid-Atlantic championship tournament berth at seasones end. Four players in Kristen Garman, Lyndee Sheaffer, Maddie Fox, and Rachel Gorman earned all-conference honors with Garman being named the MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Year for just the second time in program history. She and Sheaffer also earned NFHCA All-Region honors.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 24 sports.
