Brittany Fleisher Recognized as LVC Student-Athlete

Brittany Fleisher of Newport, Pa., is one of more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the Fall 2016 semester. Fleisher, a graduate of Greenwood High School, is pursuing a bachelor of arts in global studies and economics at The Valley.

Fleisher was a member of the field hockey team. Lebanon Valley finished its 2016 campaign with an 11-7 record that included a berth in the MAC Commonwealth Postseason Tournament. The Flying Dutchmen racked up a five-game win streak that included a come-from-behind overtime victory at No. 9 William Smith in September. Maddie Fox, an NFHCA All-Region honoree, was joined by teammate Rachel Gorman on the MAC Commonwealth All-Conference First-Team, while leading-scorer Megan Arnst and defender Tasia Dennis also earned all-conference recognition.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 25 sports.
