Brian Remper Presented Research in Psychology Department Poster Session

Brian Remper of Newmanstown, Pa., recently presented research at Lebanon Valley College's Fall 2014 Psychology Poster Session. Remper, a graduate of Eastern Lebanon County High School, is pursuing a bachelor of arts in criminal justice and psychology at The Valley.

Remper was one of 50 students who gathered to present research at the poster session. Remper presented "The Bystander Effect: The Effect on Group Size on Bystander Intervention."

The Psychology Department at Lebanon Valley College seeks to foster an understanding of human behavior that is built on a scientific foundation and is applied to real world phenomena and problems. Its curriculum is a student-oriented, liberal arts program that prepares students, following graduation, for applied entry positions in the work force or for graduate studies in a range of areas such as psychology, neuroscience, social work, medicine, business, education, and law.
