Brett Johnson Tabbed MAC POTW For Second Time

For the second time this season, Lebanon Valley's Brett Johnson of Bronxville, N.Y., has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Men's Ice Hockey Offensive Player of the Week on Feb. 19. Johnson, a graduate of Middletown High School South, is pursuing a bachelor of science in business administration at The Valley.

Johnson totaled four points in a pair of victories over the weekend. In a 4-3 overtime win against Bryn Athyn on Friday night, he scored two goals, including the game-winner with 2:29 remaining in the extra session. The next evening, he followed it up by adding two assists in a 4-1 victory over Elmira that clinched the No. 3 seed in the upcoming United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) Championship Tournament for LVC.

The Flying Dutchmen will compete in their first postseason contest since returning to NCAA Division III competition two years ago when they host Neumann for UCHC Tournament opening-round action at Hersheypark Arena on Wednesday night, Feb. 21.
