Blake Weaver Named Men's Lacrosse Team Captain

Lebanon Valley College men's lacrosse head coach John Haus has announced that Blake Weaver of Ephrata, Pa., is one of five team captains for the upcoming 2018 campaign. Weaver, a graduate of Ephrata Senior High School, is pursuing a degree in business administration at The Valley.

After missing nearly the entire 2016 season due to injury, Weaver bounced back in a big way last spring. He emerged as one of the squad's most reliable defenders, starting all 17 games. As a junior, he ranked second on the team with 25 caused turnovers and fifth among LVC players with 38 ground balls.

The Flying Dutchmen open their 2018 season when they host Delaware Valley at Arnold Field on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 24.
