2013 Apr 17

Lebanon Valley College has recognized 185 of its first-semester freshmen and transfer students for making an impact on the campus as a new student. The Celebration of Student Success reception, held Feb. 21 in the Lehr Dining Room of the Mund College Center, honored the students' achievement.

Aubrey E. Dietrich of Red Lion, Pa., a freshman early childhood education and special education major, was recognized.

The honorees were nominated by faculty and administrators for standing out in the classroom, in their work with classmates, as student leaders, in on-campus employment, or in extracurricular activities such as athletics, performance, or volunteerism.

Lebanon Valley College is located in Annville, Pa., just 15 minutes east of Hershey and 35 minutes east of Harrisburg. Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Baltimore are all approximately two hours from LVC. Founded in 1866, the College welcomes more than 1,600 full-time undergraduate students studying more than 30 majors, as well as self-designed majors. It guarantees graduation within four years and offers automatic scholarships to students ranking in the top 30 percent of their high school class worth up to one half the cost of tuition at LVC.
