Ariana Freeman Named to Middle Atlantic Conference Academic Honor Roll

Ariana Freeman of Mechanicsburg, Pa., is one of more than 150 Lebanon Valley student-athletes named to the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) Winter and Spring Academic Honor Roll.

Freeman, a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School, is a member of the women's tennis team, and received a bachelor of science in business administration at The Valley. Freeman was also named to the MAC's Spring Sportsmanship Team.

The academic honor roll is comprised of student-athletes who compete in a varsity level sport and registered a term/semester GPA of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) or higher. In 2015-16, the MAC allowed freshmen to be eligible for the conference academic honor roll for the first time.

The addition of freshmen allowed for a record 2,278 MAC student-athletes who competed in baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's indoor track & field, and men's and women's outdoor track & field to earn honor roll recognition. A total of 827 student-athletes were named to the winter honor roll and 1,451 were named to the spring version.
