Alyssa Smale Recognized as LVC Student-Athlete

Alyssa Smale of Stroudsburg, Pa., is one of more than 150 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the Winter 2017-18 sports season. Smale, a graduate of Pocono Mountain East High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in chemistry in ACS chemistry at The Valley.

Smale was a member of the women's indoor tracka and field team. Lebanon Valley's women's track & field team earned six medals at the 2017-18 MAC Indoor Championships. Olivia Fallon earned silver in the pole vault, while Sarah Grow, Becky Ford, Keri Jones, and Kate Mowrey won bronze in the distance medley relay. Additional, Grow, Jones, Mowrey, and Teanna Shutt earned the bronze in the 4x800 relay.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 26 sports.
