Alyssa Potosnak of Mertztown Spending Semester in New Zealand

2015 Oct 2

Alyssa Potosnak of Mertztown, Pa. is one of 22 Lebanon Valley College students studying away for the fall 2015 semester. Potosnak is spending the semester in New Zealand as part of the College's study abroad program, which includes 12 foreign countries and two stateside internship opportunities.

This program is located at the University of Waikato and is open to students in any major or concentration. Students take four classes at the university, but all of New Zealand will be the classroom as they explore the diverse sights and wonders of this beautiful island nation.

Potosnak, a graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in psychobiology at The Valley.

By the time they graduate, nearly 20 percent of LVC students will have spent time studying and traveling abroad, experiences that will shape and inform the rest of their lives as global citizens.
