Alyssa Potosnak Recognized for women's tennis at Lebanon Valley College

Alyssa Potosnak of Mertztown, Pa., was one of more than 200 Lebanon Valley College students who played a varsity sport during the 2016 spring season. Potosnak, a graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, was a member of Lebanon Valley's women's tennis team(s). Potosnak is pursuing a bachelor of science in neuroscience at The Valley.

The Flying Dutchmen finished with a 7- 11 overall record, going 4-3 in conference play. Unfortunately, the season ended in the semifinal round of the MAC Commonwealth postseason tournament against Messiah. Two players were recognized with MAC Commonwealth All-Conference honors. Junior Rebecca Pierpont and sophomore Marla Scacchitti were voted to the all-conference second-team.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 24 sports.
