Alyssa Potosnak Recognized as LVC Student-Athlete

Alyssa Potosnak of Mertztown, Pa., is one of more than 200 student-athletes who competed for the Flying Dutchmen during the 2017 spring sports season. Potosnak, a graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, received a bachelor of science in neuroscience at The Valley.

Potosnak was a member of the Women's tennis team. Women's tennis turned in one of the programIs best campaigns in recent memory, winning 14 matches. The team went undefeated against conference competition in the regular season, earned the top seed in the MAC Commonwealth Championship Tournament, and fell by the slimmest of margins in the leagueIs championship match. Joy Graeff was voted the MAC Commonwealth Coach of the Year by her peers, while Marla Scacchitti earned second-team all-conference honors.

A member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III, American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), and Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), Lebanon Valley College offers 25 sports.
