Alyssa J. Nissley , a sophomore religion and eEnglish major at Lebanon Valley College, is spending the spring 2013 semester in Argentina as part of the College's study abroad program. Nissley is a graduate of Manheim Central High School.

The capital city of Buenos Aires is home to nearly 40 percent of the Argentine population making the "Paris of the Americas" a city of more than 13 million. Buenos Aires built its identity on Spanish, Italian, and French influences, which appear in the grand boulevards and magnificent architecture. Students can trek to the Andes mountains in the west, explore the beaches to the east, the famous Iguazu Falls in the north and the mythical Patagonia in the south.

Lebanon Valley CollegeĀ® in Annville, Pa., welcomes 1,630 full-time undergraduates studying more than 30 majors, as well as self-designed majors. Founded in 1866, LVC has graduate programs in physical therapy, business, music education, and science education.
