Aileen Koch of Franklin in Lebanon Valley College's "Into The Woods"

Aileen Koch of Franklin, N.J., is a part of an upcoming production of "Into the Woods" at Lebanon Valley College, sponsored by the Wig & Buckle Theater Company.

Featuring familiar storybook characters such as Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Jack and the Beanstalk, "Into the Woods" follows the story of a baker and his wife as they set out on an adventure to break a witch's curse and have a child of their own. Along the way, they learn what happens when people get their wishes and discover that happily ever after isn't always what it seems. The Tony award-winning musical features music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine.

Koch, a freshman music education major, portrays Sleeping Beauty and is Rapunzel's understudy. Koch is a graduate of Wallkill Valley Regional High School.

The show opens October 26 at 8 p.m. Additional performances are slated for Oct. 27 at 8 p.m., Oct. 28 at 2 p.m., and Nov. 1-4 at 8 p.m. All shows are held in Leedy Theater of the Mund College Center and are open to the public.
