Lebanon Valley College MBA Program Receives Accreditation From ACBSP

Annville, PA (06/26/2017) — The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners has awarded Lebanon Valley College accreditation of its MBA Program.

"Accreditation of the MBA Program, as well as the undergraduate business programs at LVC, is a continuation of the College's commitment to academic excellence in teaching and learning," stated Dr. David M. Setley, director of the MBA Program, chair of the Department of Business and Economics, and Eugene C. Fish professor of business.

Based on the Baldridge Education Criteria for Performance Excellence, ACBSP accreditation evaluates aspects of leadership, strategic planning, relationships with stakeholders, quality of academic programs, faculty credentials, and educational support to determine whether or not the business programs offers a rigorous educational experience and demonstrate continuous quality improvement.

"Lebanon Valley College was first awarded ACBSP accreditation of its undergraduate business programs in 2010," said ACBSP Chief Accreditation Officer Dr. Steve Parscale. "They have shown their commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by going through the extra steps required to accredit the MBA Program. This accreditation is evidence that Lebanon Valley College is committed to providing the highest quality business education for their students."

Established in 1988, ACBSP is the only organization offering specialized business accreditation for all degree levels, from associate to baccalaureate to doctoral degree programs. ACBSP accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the MBA program offered through Lebanon Valley College meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP.

"This accreditation is a seal of consistent educational quality throughout our programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels and has incredible value to the students and graduates of our programs," said Dr. Setley. "It is a testament to the outstanding work of our faculty and staff."
